Responsibilities

What You Will Own & Deliver

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites for web and mobile applications using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Design comprehensive test plans, edge-case scenarios, and automated regression suites for new enterprise feature releases.
  • Perform automated API contract validation, data integrity checks, and WebSocket real-time messaging tests.
  • Execute stress and capacity tests using k6 to identify memory leaks, race conditions, and database deadlocks before deployment.
  • Integrate automated security scans, dependency audits, and container image vulnerability checks into GitHub Actions CI/CD.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce, triage, and verify bug fixes with detailed reproduction steps and logs.
Qualifications

Required Experience & DNA

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation engineering with proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Extensive hands-on experience building test frameworks with Playwright or Cypress from scratch.
  • Strong background in testing REST and GraphQL APIs, inspecting network requests, and querying databases (SQL).
  • Experience with CI/CD integration, parallel test execution, and Docker-based test environments.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (smoke, functional, integration, regression, load, security).

High-Value Bonus Signals

  • Familiarity with financial compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA) and security auditing.
  • Experience with mobile app automation (React Native / Flutter testing).
  • ISTQB or Security Certification (CEH, CompTIA Security+).
